Praise the Lord for Sundays!

Today is a absolutely beautiful day in Norwood PA (my current place of residents...i refuse to claim it my home)

The sun is shining, the ice and snow is melting, and there's a slight breeze....it is such a nice change of pace from the 16 degree snowy- icy weather that has made me miss Texas sooo much.

it has not been the easiest of things for me to move up here but on days like today I'm glad I am here to enjoy it! it is so nice there might be some sight seeing later on :) which I will tell you all about....but for now enjoy your day wherever you might be!

This is for you moms!

To all of u out there in the cyber world...i'm sorry for taking almost two months to post...my bad i blame it all on the job.

NEWAYS...i got a new computer so more than likely this wont happen again (but if it does i apologize in advance) i love my computer...i have loved it ever since i first started stealing christa's my sophomore year...i got a macbook and im soo glad to be a mac owner!!! now all i have to do is figure out how to do all the cool stuff you can with it...maybe later.

so i'm sure most of you would like to know why it has taken me so long to write on this thing....
here are a few reasons...

A#1 (yes i did that on purpose... it how i list things...if you don't like tough) I didn't have my own computer and i felt bad using my roommates.... problem solved!

B#2 my job takes me to all these crazy places (duh thats y ur here :)) and i'm still on reserve (which means ur back up in case someone calls in sick and you wait for them to call you and you have no idea were you could be in the next few days)

C#3 I have enough things to take with me though security...i don't need to add another gray bin...one is good enough for me.

and finally D#4 i've never really enjoyed writing and procrastinating is a skill that i have perfected!

sorry again... I'll try to be better next month!
Love u all! MUAH!

Living life in a metal tube

Hi everyone! so i got tired of telling my tales over and over so i decided to start a blog! ok so here it goes!

Life in the skies is GREAT! i love flying! i cant believe that i get paid to do it. here's how a life of flying works.... you bid on were you want to go...then (if your lucky enough) you get the "trips" that you want...ours range from 1 day trips to 5 day trips....once you have ur schedule for the month you hope that there are some good overnights that have enough time that you can actually enjoy the city your in. then its time for you to go to work...you met your crew (that you secretly hope are AWESOME because you'll have to do everything with them for the next few days) that you will be working with (most of the time for me i have never even seen them before i get to the gate) then you get to work..... you make sure there is no trash...put up tray tables...put down the seats...make sure the seat belts are perfect...all the emergency equipment is functional... you have drinks, ice... then you do the typical stuff that most people see.... boarding ... safety demo... beverage service...trash...u know what you know and love about a flight attendants job... trust me there is much much more behind the scenes work...you do this multiple times a day...usually three to four times...and if your lucky enough it will all be on the same plane... but sometimes you swap planes which cuts in to your eating and restroom breaks, you have to start all over as if it were the start of your day... then your done....after a long day of standing ( for me that means in 3+ inch heals) all you want to do is go to bed! but not so fast..... you have to wait on the shuttle for the hotel outside in the cold.... hopefully the hotel is not to far and that they are on top of their game and have already sent the van so u don't have to wait to long...then you check in..and go to bed...wake up...more than likely EARLY and do it all again....its great!
